Pet Food DistributionOhio Paws with Purpose's dog and cat food distribution occurs at Willow Praise Church from 8 to 10am on the 4th Saturday of each month from January through October. Due to the holidays, distribution occurs on the 3rd Saturday of the month for November and December. The church is located at 32901 Vine St., Willowick, OH 44095. There is no requirement to receive food, other than need.

Pet Cat Transport ProgramBeginning Friday, May 13th, this program will transport pet cats to PetFix in Euclid, OH to be spayed or neutered. Each transport will have a maximum of 10 total pet cats, with no more than 7 females, per PetFix requirements. To qualify, you must provide proof that you are receiving government assistance. The pickup time is between 6:45 - 7:30am in Painesville at Miracle Revival Assembly of God. The cats will be returned at 4pm the same day.
Future transports will occur on the 2nd Friday of each month. Advance registration is required. To register, send an email to ohiopawswithpurpose@gmail.com. |
Medical FundOhio Paws with Purpose's Medical Fund will cover $75 for an office visit needed by your cat or dog due to illness. We will pay another $150 should your pet need surgery. The maximum distribution is $225 per pet. Payment will be made directly to the animal hospital. Routine exams and shots (including rabies shots, spay/neuter surgeries, and any other costs) ARE NOT COVERED. You must be receiving government assistance to qualify for this program.

Pet & Feral Cat Spay/Neuter ProgramOhio Paws with Purpose provides vouchers for FREE spay/neuter services for cats performed at PetFix in Euclid for pets. Our organization will pay PetFix $35 towards the cost of the spay/neuter of dogs. The owner must pay any cost in excess of $35 for their dog's procedure. OPwP will, however, also pay for a rabies vaccine if needed.
A maximum of 2 pets per household may obtain this service. To obtain a voucher, please send an email to ohiopawswithpurpose@gmail.com. You must provide your photo ID and proof that you are receiving government assistance to obtain a voucher. Ohio Paws with Purpose will also allow INDIVIDUALS who wish to spay or neuter feral cats near their home to apply for assistance. A maximum of 3 feral cats may be spayed/neutered. This includes surgery, rabies shot and ear tip performed at PetFix in Euclid. To obtain voucher(s), please send an email to ohiopawswithpurpose@gmail.com. **Individuals associated with TNR programs, shelters or rescues whereby an organization would have paid for the service DO NOT QUALIFY. |
Veterans ProgramOhio Paws with Purpose will pay the adoption fee, up to $200, for one companion dog or cat for veterans, with the following stipulations:
There is no expiration date for this program, however, the OPwP reserves the right to cancel this program at any time. |
